Still, my experience highlights systemic issues in the city's permitting process, specifically, a lack <br />of transparency, consistency, and predictability. These challenges don't just affect one <br />homeowner; they discourage potential investors and residents from contributing to <br />Pleasanton's growth. <br />I respectfully urge the City to continue refining its permitting system to make it more clear, fair, <br />and efficient. Setting consistent expectations from the outset, improving interdepartmental <br />coordination, and maintaining predictable fee structures would go a long way toward rebuilding <br />public trust and encouraging responsible development.
