Page 1 of 2 <br />Item #5 <br /> <br />YOUTH COMMISSION AGENDA <br />REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />October 8, 2025 <br />Library and Recreation <br /> <br />TITLE: REVIEW AND APPROVE COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE FOR SCHOOL <br />YEAR 2025/26 <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br />As stated in Section 2.29.080 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Youth Commission regular <br />meetings shall be held on the second Wednesday of each month, through May, at a time and <br />place set by the commission. The commission may approve an alternate meeting date. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Review and approve commission meeting schedule for school year 2025/26. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />As stated in Pleasanton Municipal Code Section 2.29.080, Youth Commission regular <br />meetings shall be held on the second Wednesday of each month, through May, at a time and <br />place set by the commission. The commission may approve an alternate meeting date. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br />The following is the proposed meeting schedule for school year 2025/26. Commissioners may <br />select alternate dates as appropriate and agreed upon by a majority. Additionally, the <br />commission should discuss the time for these meetings. <br /> <br />Proposed Youth Commission Meeting Schedule for School Year 2025/26 <br />Location: Public Works Department, Remillard Room (3333 Busch Road) <br />Time: To be determined by the Commission <br /> <br />October 8, 2025 <br />November 12, 2025 <br />December 10, 2025 – cancel (holidays) <br />January 14, 2026 <br />February 11, 2026 <br />March 11, 2026 <br />April 8, 2026 – cancel (spring break) <br />May 13, 2026 <br /> <br />EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY <br />Not applicable, as this item is an administrative matter of City business. <br /> <br />OUTREACH <br />Not applicable, as this item is a matter of commission business. <br /> <br />Page 11 of 14
