SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL <br />Responses to City Council Agenda Items – October 7, 2025 <br />Regular Meeting <br />enda Item #8: Authorize the Citv Manaaer to enter into a Drofessional services aareement <br />with Wood Rodgers, Inc. for the development of the Stormwater System Management Plan, <br />CIP No. 25659 in the amount not -to -exceed $2,192,186 (inclusive of a 15 percent contingency) <br />for four years <br />How much was budgeted for this item and did it come back in line with our expectation <br />on costs? Is this funded from enterprise or CIP funds? <br />A. The City's Stormwater Program is currently funded through the General Fund and is <br />not an enterprise -funded program. A key objective of the Storm Water Management <br />Plan is to evaluate and recommend sustainable funding strategies to support the <br />City's stormwater infrastructure repair, replacement, and capital improvement needs. <br />The Storm Water Management Plan initiative is funded under CIP 25659, with a total <br />budget of $2,200,000 — consisting of a $500,000 carryover from FY 2024/25 and an <br />additional $1,700,000 approved in FY 2025/26. The proposed contract is fully funded <br />and within the approved CIP 25659 budget. <br />Agenda Item #13: Adopt resolutions to amend the Master Fee Schedule for water rates and <br />connection fees and sewer rates. effective January 1. 2026 <br />2. How do Pleasanton's new water connection fees compare to Dublin's? <br />A. At the June 3, 2025 Council Meeting, the City's water rate consultant discussed and <br />shared a comparison of Pleasanton's proposed and current water connection fees <br />compared to Livermore and Dublin, based on an equivalent water meter (5/8" meter <br />size).
