CONTRACT <br />VALLEY AVENUE SOUNDWALL REPAIR (REBID) <br />PROJECT NO. 18437 <br />THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this day of , 20_ <br />by and between , ("Contractor"), whose address is <br />and telephone number is <br />and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for VALLEY AVENUE <br />SOUNDWALL REPAIR (REBID), PROJECT NO. 18437 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, <br />the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Work to be Performed. In general, this work consists of repairs to existing <br />soundwalls including placement of new tube steel in drilled piers; connection to <br />existing precast concrete soundwall panels with expansion anchors in drilled <br />holes; sidewalk removal and replacement; landscape removal; and placement of <br />new wood cladding. <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br />file with the Engineering Department of the City and are incorporated herein by <br />this reference: <br />A. Approved Plans and Specifications entitled VALLEY AVENUE <br />SOUNDWALL REPAIR (REBID), PROJECT NO. 18437, and <br />addenda thereto, if any. <br />B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br />accordance with the Standard Specifications. <br />C. The elements of the proposal submitted to the City by the <br />Contractor, which the City has accepted. <br />2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at <br />the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City as set forth in <br />Exhibit A of this agreement and incorporated herein.
