NOTICE TO BIDDERS <br />Proposals Sought; Time for Receipt <br />Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City Clerk's Office of the City of <br />Pleasanton, Civic Center, in-person at 123 Main Street (or by mail to P.O. Box 520), <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566, until 11:00 a.m., September 4, 2025, for work as described in the <br />Plans and Specifications entitled: <br />VALLEY AVENUE SOUNDWALL REPAIR (REBID) <br />PROJECT NO. 18437 <br />At the above-mentioned time, date and address, the Bid Proposals will be publicly <br />opened and read. <br />Please review the City website and/or eBidboard for addendum(s) prior to submission. <br />Scope of Work and Project Location <br />This work will consist of stabilizing 6750 LF of existing precast soundwall by installing <br />1,070 new galvanized tube steel posts in cast -in -drilled hole piles. Work also includes <br />temporary support of existing panels; clearing and grubbing at post locations; connection <br />of new posts to existing concrete panels; installation of redwood cladding; sidewalk <br />removal and replacement at post locations; irrigation and planting restoration. Work shall <br />include furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and necessary services for <br />performing a complete project as specified in the plans and specifications. Work will also <br />include traffic control and construction area signage; providing and implementing <br />stormwater BMP's; cleaning of the job site and other miscellaneous items. Work is <br />divided into a base bid component along with two alternative bid sections of work. Basis <br />of the award will be Total Base Bid amount. Bidder must provide pricing for all base and <br />alternative items for bid to be considered responsive. <br />The Engineer's cost estimate for the project, including bid alternatives, is $2,400,000. <br />Copies of Plans and Specifications <br />In order to be an eligible bidder, plans, specifications and all bid proposal and contract <br />documents must adhere to the latest version of all bid documents as amended through any <br />addendums. Plans may be purchased from the Engineering Division of the City of <br />Pleasanton, Civic Center, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, at a cost of $30 per set plus shipping. <br />Plans will be electronically available on the City's website and Bidnetdirect.com at no <br />charge. The City requests all parties interested in this bid opportunity to email the City to <br />be added to the plan holder list. Any addenda will be sent electronically to those on the <br />plan holder list prior to the bid opening date.
