THE CITY or <br />e ft, !1M, <br />PLEASANTON. <br />MEMORANDUM <br />Date: July 9, 2025 <br />To: Mayor and City Council <br />From: Gerry Beaudin, Ctty Manag <br />Tracy Avelar, Chief of Police <br />Re: Council Meeting July 15, 2025, Item # 15 - Approve and authorize the City <br />Manager to enter into an agreement with Flock Safety Inc. for expansion of the <br />automated license plate reader camera program for a term of five years, not to <br />exceed $639,760 <br />The purpose of this memorandum is to bring attention to an error identified in the initial council <br />report regarding the quantity of Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras to be <br />installed as part of the proposed project. The report inaccurately states that there will be 54 <br />cameras; the correct total is 38 ALPR cameras. To ensure accurate reporting and appropriate <br />budget allocation, we recommend updating all relevant documentation to reflect this correction. <br />Attached, please find the revised proposal, which includes the updated information and <br />outlines the annual retuning costs associated with this initiative. <br />
