This is a great place for
them to gather after school.
For children before school age, this is a wonderful environment to
start learning about books and stories. When my children were
small, I used to drive all the way to Pleasanton library from Castro
Valley, just so they could enjoy the wonderful children's room in the
library. Later on we moved here, and this is where they would spen
many an evenings with their friends, studying while hanging out.
Reducing library access means limiting opportunities for students
and job seekers, and as such, limiting opportunities for our future. I
urge you to consider the long term impact of such a decision on our
beloved city, of which you are entrusted with stewardship.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
Nancy Zhang
