Review the Draft Urban Forest Master Plan (CIP No. 22773) and Provide Staff with <br />Comments <br /> <br />Matt Gruber, The City Landscape Architect, Sarah Hosterman, Assistant Landscape <br />Architect, and consultant Kevin Cullinen, presented the item and answered questions from <br />commissioners. <br /> <br />Commissioners provided comments. <br /> <br />Chair Immadi opened the item for public comment. <br /> <br />There being no speakers, Chair Immadi closed the item for public comment. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Review Playground Renovation Options and Provide a Recommendation on which <br />Playground Should be Prioritized for Renovation <br /> <br /> <br />Matt Gruber, The City Landscape Architect, and Giacomo Damonte, Parks Division Manager <br />presented the item and answered questions from commissioners. <br /> <br />Commissioners provided comments. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was motioned by Commissioner Deckert to approve Option 3 – Utilize the <br />playground renovation funds and combine them with the remaining All-Abilities playground <br />funds, approximately $280,000, and construct phase 1 of the all-abilities playground in place <br />of the Ken Mercer Sports Park Phase 1 playground for the money available, $830,000. <br /> <br />There was no second to the motion. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Vickers/Alfaro to approve Option 1 – the renovation of Del Prado and <br />Moller Park playgrounds. <br /> <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Alfaro, Brown, Deckert, Hall, Vickers, and Chair Immadi <br />Noes: Commissioner Deckert <br /> <br />Page 4 of 48
