These groups maintain a residency rate of at least 70% to stay in their co-sponsor status. Currently, the City charges these groups $18 per hour for field lights when used, but there is no additional fee for the rental/use of the field. Fees for this group in the existing Master Fee Schedule Section VIII. Recreation fall in category A and should recover 0-25% of actual costs. At its November 14, 2024, meeting, the Parks & Recreation Commission recommended the fees proposed for co-sponsor group use of fields, which fit within the current Master Fee Schedule (Commission agenda item materials are available at https://pleasantonca.portal.civicclerk.com/event/347/files/agenda/662.) No members of the co- sponsor user groups spoke on this item at the commission meeting. If approved, the field fees will become effective in FY 2025/26, and additional General Fund revenue is projected to be $61,000.
