That being said, because we live in the Forest Hill development near Stoneridge Mall, we urge the Council to at least severely limit the density of required housing units in the Stoneridge Mall Framework. Increased traffic on Stoneridge Drive is a huge concern for us. Stoneridge Drive is already used by commuters to bypass afternoon and evening traffic on 580 East. Stoneridge Drive traffic is also impacted by employees of Workday and 10XGenomics commuting to and from the office. We are further aware that once the Costco on Johnson Drive is open, there will be increased traffic on Stoneridge Drive from Costco shoppers exiting the 680 South freeway. State-mandated housing units in the area will only increase the traffic burden on Stoneridge Drive; limiting the density of state- mandated housing in the Stoneridge Mall Framework should reduce this anticipated traffic burden. Again, we urge the Council to severely limit the density of state-mandated housing in the Stoneridge Mall Framework. Thank you for your consideration. 1
