Subject: Lund Ranch II PUD -25
Honorable Mayor and City Council members,
SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Provided to the City Council
After Distribution of Packet
Date
/7- -4
At the request of Karla Brown, members of the Ventana Hills Steering Committee and a Mission Hills
representative met with neighbors from Sycamore Heights on Monday 11/2/15 at the Pleasanton Library. The
goal of the meeting was to discuss common ground between the neighborhoods regarding Lund Ranch II PUD -
25.
The Ventana Hills Steering Committee and Mission Hills neighbors' consistent position has been that 20+ years
of agreements, understanding and plans for traffic circulation need to be upheld which means the incremental
traffic from the development of Lund Ranch II should flow into Sunset Creek Lane. This position is reflected
best in Staff's option #2 and thus we support this choice independent of the number of housing units that
Council may choose to approve.
Discussed in our 11/2/15 meeting was the possibility of asking City Council to approve Option #2 but with a
condition that Lund Ranch II PUD -25 become a 10 -unit estate lot development. This incremental condition
would represent common ground and should be considered by all City Council members but it should be noted
that our neighborhood's primary position is independent of the number of units allowed.
Ventana Hills Steering Committee
Andy Allbritten
George Dort
Amy Lofland
Carol Spain
Wayne Strickler
Mission Hills Representatives
Justin Brown
Jay Hertogs
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
