November 17, 2015
Mr. Mike Meyer
President
Greenbriar Homes Communities
43160 Osgood Road
Fremont, CA 94539
Subject Lund Ranch 11 Average Daily Traffic
Dear Mr. Meyer:
SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Provided to the City Council
After Distribution Doff Packet
Date
TJKM prepared the attached illustration, Lund Ranch ll Average Daily Traffic (ADT), to show the
comparison of daily traffic volumes on neighborhood streets that would receive added traffic
under one or more of three scenarios under consideration by the City. The illustration shows
existing traffic volumes at 15 locations and the existing plus project traffic that would be
produced under these scenarios:
• All traffic from 50 homes would be routed onto Lund Ranch Road and streets in the area
• All traffic from 50 homes would be routed onto Sunset Creek Lane and streets in the area
• Traffic from 10 homes would be routed onto Lund Ranch Road and streets in the area
and traffic from 40 homes would be routed onto Sunset Creek Lane and streets in the
area.
The source of these volumes is the traffic study prepared for the project EIR by Fehr and Peers.
Where the EIR does not show volumes, they were prepared by TJKM and reviewed and
approved by the City Traffic Engineer.
The City of Pleasanton has established standards of 500 to 3,000 daily trips on local streets and
3,000 to 6,000 daily trips on two -lane residential collectors. All streets in all three scenarios
comfortably meet these standards. It is my opinion that there are no significant traffic impacts
on any streets affected by the Lund Ranch II proposed project.
Please contact me if there are questions on this matter.
Very truly yours,
Chris D. Kinzel, P.E.
Vice President
PLEASANTON • SAN JOSE • SANTA ROSA • OAKLAND a SACRAMENTO a FRESNO
Corporate Office: 4305 Hacienda Drive, Suite 550, Pleasanton, CA 94588 • Phone: 925.463.0611 • www.TJKM.com
DBE#40772 • SBE #38780
