The green circle shows <br /> the -2 mile radius area that the bees will collect nectar and pollen. The center of the circle is my <br /> house. This area benefits from increased fruit and vegetable production due to these bees <br /> pollination efforts. Notice also that because our home is >2miles from the boarder of Pleasanton that <br /> we will not be visited by bees used for commercial pollination. This is one reason that backyards <br /> inside Pleasanton city will see limited bees. The feral bee population is minimal due to colony <br /> collapse disorder. <br /> 101 <br />
