Approved: .Clerk orl Mayor Pleasanton, California, December 9th, 1935• The'Town Council of the Town of Pleasanton was called to order at 7:30 P.M. on the above written date by Mayor Thos. Orloff. Present at roll call were Councilmen: Rivolta, Olesen and Orloff. Councilman Madsen was late and Councilman Amaral was absent. Mayor Orloff drew attention to the members that the meeting had been called to consider prices submited by three lumber firms who had been appealed, to, to send in figures as regards lumber to be used on the slope wall project which the municipality woul& have to purchase. The prices as submitted were: Hall Warehouse Company 8670.00 including sales tax and all materials to be delivered on the job and as ordered by the foreman of same. Sunset Lumber Company $656.11 including sales tax ( the lumber-to be delivered in two approximately equal shares). Diamond Match Company $643.01 including sales tax. The Council ordered that since the Diamond Match Company had submitted the lowest price, that the lumber would be.purchased from them, providing the lumber would be delivered on the job as needed. Otherewise the price of the Hall Warehouse Company would be accepted. 'A short discussion followed among the Board members relative to the work going on in connection with the slope wall. The Clerk read a communication from the League of California Municipalities dated December 6th and relative to notice of Railroad Commission held in San Francisco on December 19th as regards rates per hour exclusive of drivers on dump trucks etc. There being no further business the meeting ad,j�ourned at 8:25 o'clock to meetiin .regular session January 6 at `930 P.M. jl Approved: /14ffayor erk
