CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1707 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROV1NG THE APPLICATION <br /> OF THE PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR <br /> A MAJOR MODIFICATION OF THE HACIENDA <br /> BUSINESS PARK PUD AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> pUD-81-30-35M/PUD-85-8-16M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Prudential Insurance Company has applied for a major modification of <br /> the Hacienda Business Park PUD development plans and design guidelines <br /> to allow hotels and motels on Parcels 52, 53A, 56C, and 57A, B, and C, <br /> located in the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br /> (Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed PUD modification is covered by the Environmental Impact <br /> Pepon (E1R) approved by the City Council for the Hacienda Business Park; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval <br /> of the major modification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 18, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed modification to allow hotels <br /> and motels on the parcels designated as a conditional use is appropriate. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of the Prudential Insurance Company for a major <br /> modification of the Hacienda Business Park PUD development plans and <br /> design guidelines to allow hotels and motels as conditional uses on Parcels <br /> 52, 53A, 56C, 57A, B, and C, subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit <br /> B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
