recommendation of the Joint Executive Directors, shall approve that <br />portion of the Pleasanton management compensation plan that includes the <br />Fire Deparmaent management employees. As part of approvthg an overall <br />compensation plan for its management employees, the Pleasanton City <br />Council, after receiving the recommendation of the Joint Executive <br />Directors, shall approve a management compensation plan that includes <br />Fire Department management employees. The City Councils may meet in <br />separate or joint closed sessions for this purpose. <br />Officers: Duties; Bonds <br /> <br />( 1 ) The officers of the Authority shall be the Chair, Vice-Chair, Joint <br /> <br /> Executive Directors, Secretary and Treasurer. <br /> <br />(2) The Joint Executive Directors shall be the City Managers of Livermore <br /> and Pleasanton. The Joint Executive Directors shall appoint the <br /> Authotity's Fire Chief, who shall be an at will employee and shall: <br /> <br /> (a) Direct all subordinate officers and employees; <br /> <br /> (b) Recommend to the Joint Executive Directors the appointment and <br /> removal of members of the Livermore-PIeasanton Fire <br /> Deparmaent; <br /> <br /> (e) Attend all meetings of the Board of Directors unless excused <br /> therefrom; <br /> <br /> (d) Prepare and submit to the Joint Executive Directors (who will <br /> review and recommend to the Board and City Couneils) the annual <br /> budget for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. <br /> <br /> (e) Promulgate administrative regulations. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
