PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1937 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR <br />TRACOR-MBA AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-80-15. <br />WHEREAS, Tracor-MBA has applied for a 9 acre commercial Planned <br />Unit Development zoning for the property on the south <br />side of Pimlico Drive between Santa Rita Road and <br />Brockton Drive consisting of eight parcels. This <br />application also requests consideration of proposed <br />uses. The property is zoned C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 14, 1981 at <br />which time all pertinent documents and testimony were <br />reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done <br />pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and <br />Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of January 14, <br />1981 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative <br />Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development dated January 14, 1981 regarding <br />the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section <br />5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of <br />the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />
