PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1946 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-80-1, MICHAEL HARRIS. WHEREAS, Michael Harris has applied for rezoning of the approxi- mately 1 acre site located near the intersection of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boulevard, just north of Fire Station No. 3 from the RM-25 (Multi-family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development-High Density Residential) District or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan and for development plan approval for a 16-unit townhouse residential development on the site; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 17, 1981 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of February 17, 1981 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and Community Development dated February 17, 1981 regarding the afore- mentioned project; and WHEREAS,. the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and
