PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1949 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />CASE RZ-80-16. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to rezone from the <br />"A" (Agricultural) District to the "P" (Public and <br />Institutional) District an approximately 156 acres of <br />the Alameda County Fairgrounds site in the vicinity of <br />Pleasanton Avenue, Rose Avenue and Bernal Avenue, or to <br />any other zoning district consistent with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 17, 1981 at which <br />time all public testimony and documents were reviewed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />recommends approval of case RZ-80-16, rezoning of 156 <br />acres of the Alameda County Fairgrounds property from <br />"A" (Agricultural) District to the "P" (Public and <br />Institutional) District because of the public nature of <br />the site. <br />Section 2.
