PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1856 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR FOOTHILL BUILDERS FILED UNDER TENTATIVE MAP 4373. WHEREAS, the Foothill Builders have applied for a tentative map approval for a 13 lot residential subdivision of the 10 acre site located on the east side of Foothill Road south of Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1-20,000 (Single-Family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 12, 1980 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and Community Devel- opment dated March 12, 1980 regarding the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration ,- and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission reviewed the contents of Resolution No. 77-66 (Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures) as they pertain to the requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports and determines that the project requested in Tract 4373 would not have any significant effects on the environment to require the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report.
