PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1710 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING A DETERMINATION OF USES <br />ALLOWED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A GARDEN CENTER. <br />WHEREAS, that the January 10, 1979, Planning Commission meeting, a <br />request to review "Garden Center" in conjunction with <br />UP-76-28, Thomas Richert and Casa Verde Nursery in the <br />I-P (Industrial Park) District was discussed; and <br />WHEREAS, at the hearing, the Planning Commission found that by <br />allowing Casa Verde to carry: insulation; pre-finished <br />paneling and siding; redwood and pine mouldings; finished <br />kiln-dried redwood, pine and fir; screen and entry doors; <br />plywood; domestic and imported hardwoods; and related <br />homeowner installed products, such use is in accord with <br />the definition of "Garden Center;" and <br />WHEREAS, all pertinent documents, reports and testimony were reviewed. <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the determination that the <br />above mentioned uses are substantially similar to uses <br />normally allowed in a "Garden Center." <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission approves the minor modification <br />to UP-76-28, Condition #1. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of January, 1979, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Leppert, Getty, Wilson and <br />Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />DATE: January 10, 1979 <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert J.
