PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1715 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br />IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR THE CHAMBERLAIN GROUP IS <br />ACCEPTABLE FOR THE PROJECT FILED UNDER PUD-78-5. <br />WHEREAS, the Chamberlain Group has applied for a planned unit <br />development for a 75 lot single family residential <br />subdivision on a 65 acre site located at the eastern end <br />of Arbor Drive in Vintage Hills. The site is zoned <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Resi- <br />dential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was completed in 1978 <br />for this development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the environmental impact <br />report which was prepared for this project at the <br />February 20, 1979 meeting to determine if the project <br />would have any significant impacts on the environment, <br />and if so, whether mitigation measures or overriding <br />considerations may be present. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the following findings: <br />1. That the environmental impact report has been completed <br />in compliance with CEQA and State Guidelines. <br />2. That the Planning Commission certifies that they <br />have reviewed and considered the information in the <br />environmental impact report. <br />3. That with the conditions of approval the project would <br />not have any significant adverse impacts on the <br />environment because the conditions of approval reduce <br />any impacts to an insignificant level. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission hereby incorporates the above <br />findings into a Statement of Overriding Considerations <br />through the provision of needed housing within the City. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
