PLANING COMMISSION <br />CITY~OF PLEASANTON <br />_ COUN~Y OF ALAMEDA <br />STAT~ OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1726 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ACCEPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED <br />FOR L AND H LAND CO. FILED UNDER PUD-78-1. <br />WHEREAS, L AND H LAND COMPANY has applied for approval of a <br />hillside development consisting of a 10-lot, single- <br />family residentialisubdivision located on a SO acre site <br />northwesterly of the existing terminus of Longview Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental i~pact was completed in November 1978 <br />for this development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the environmental impact <br />report which was prepared for this project at their <br />meeting of March 14, 1979 to determine if the project <br />would have any significant impacts on the environment, and <br />if so, whether mitigation measures or overriding <br />considerations may',be present. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNINGICOMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The Planning Com~ission makes the following findings: <br />1. That the Environmental Impact Report for the subject <br />planned unit development has been completed in <br />compliance with CEQA and State Guidelines. <br />2. That the Planning Commission has reviewed and considered <br />the information contained in the Environmental Impact <br />Report prior to the approval of the project. <br />3. That there arelin the Environmental Impact Report <br />certain adverse impacts which may be significant but <br />that condition$ of approval which will be attached <br />to the case reducing all but one of these impacts to <br />an insigifican~ level. The one impact which can't <br />be mitigated is the reduction in woodland habitat <br />but that there ',are overriding social and economic <br />reasons for approving the project despite removal of <br />the vegetation' <br />Section 2: That the Planning Commission hereby incorporates the <br />above findings'into a Statement of Overriding Considerations <br />concerning social and economic reasons, <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage an~ adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 14th of March 1979 by the following vote: <br />
