PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />County of Alameda <br />State of California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1609 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE <br />ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO DELETE THE PROHIBITION <br />AGAINST CERTAIN RESTAURANTS IN THE I-P (INDUSTRIAL <br />PARK) AND I-G (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICTS. <br />WHEREAS, at the December 14, 1977, Planning Commission meeting, a <br />request to review an ordinance amendment which would <br />allow entertainment in conjunction with restaurant <br />operations in the I-P and I-G Industrial Districts was <br />discussed; and <br />WHEREAS, at that hearing, the Planning Commission initiated an <br />ordinance amendment which would remove the prohibition <br />against entertainment in restaurants in the I-P and I-G <br />Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 11, 1978, the Planning Commission held a public <br />hearing to review a draft ordinance which would amend the <br />code to allow such a use in the I-P and I-G Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, all pertinent documents, reports, and testimony were reviewed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of an ordinance amendment per the draft ordi- <br />nance attached hereto and made a part of this resolution <br />by reference. <br />Section 2.
