PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1620 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A REVISED PLAN FOR PLEASANTON SPORTS AND RECREATION PARK. WHEREAS, on October 26, 1977, the staff received input from the Park and Recreation Commission as to the facilities they would like to see planned in the park; and WHEREAS, an in-depth study was made of the current community needs and two alternate plans were prepared by staff; and WHEREAS, on January 18, 1978, the Staff Review Committee reviewed the plans, which were later presented to the Park and Recreation Commission on January 25, 1978, and following a Citizens Input Meeting on February 6, 1978, a new plan, taking into consideration all those comments, was formulated for another review by the Staff Review Committee on February 15, 1978; and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission reviewed that revised plan on February 22, 1978 and approved it by Resolution 78-1; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on March 8, 1978, reviewed the same plan and received a report and explanation from the City's Park and Landscape Designer. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission concurs with the revised master plan adopted by the Park and Recreation Commission dated February 22, 1978, under Resolution No. 78-1. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
