PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CI'PY Ur' YLEASAN'i'ON <br />COUNTY OF' ALANTiDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. lj9 <br />idhhereas, the City Council has requested the Planning Commission to study <br />the feasibility of expanding the area included in the City oi' Pleasanton's <br />General Plan; and <br />Whereas, after initial study and discussion of the feasibility oi' an <br />expanded General Plan, the Planning Commission is of the opinion tnat the <br />present General Plan area is inadequate and unrealistic in terms oi' the <br />future reasonable development and expansion or the City oi' Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />That the Planning Commission does hereby express their desire and intent <br />to expand the boundaries of the Pleasanton General Ylan to include all land <br />within the following prescribed boundaries: <br />a) The westerly boundary to be a line 5W feet west of Pleasanton <br />Ridge, running from U. S. Highway yU on the north to Sunol on the <br />south. <br />b) The easterly boundary to be a line following Isabel Avenue along <br />the route oi' the proposed Freeway i'rom Livermore to Scott's Corner. <br />c) The northerly boundary to be U. S.
