PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-02 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR PUD-8G-18, OAKRIDGE <br />PROPERTIES/VALLEY MEDICAL ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Oakridge Properties/Valley Medical Associates has <br />applied for development plan approval to construct an <br />approximately 48,092 sq. ft. retail commercial center to <br />be located on an approximately 3.8 acre site, located at <br />the southeast corner of the intersection of West Las <br />Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 14, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-86-18; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated November 14, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held January 14, 1987, <br />at which time 'the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Oakridge Properties/Valley Medical <br />Associates as filed under Case PUD-86-18. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
