PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-O8 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CASE PUD-86-16, APPLICATION OF SANTA <br />ANNTA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />WHEREAS, Santa Anita Development Corporation has applied for <br />Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan <br />approval for a 193,845 sq. ft. commercial/retail center <br />to be located on an approximately 18.2 acre site at the <br />southeast corner of the intersection of Stanley <br />Boulevard and Bernal Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)- Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 28, 1987 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />(including public outcry against the project), relevant <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, petitions have been filed with the City with substantial <br />signatures in opposition to this proposal from merchants <br />and citizens. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section <br />1. The Planning Commission denies Case PUD-86-16, <br />application of Santa Anita Development Corporation for <br />Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan <br />approval for a 193,845 sq. ft. commercial/retail center <br />to be located on an approxiamtely 18.2 acre site at the <br />southeast corner of the intersection of Stanley <br />Boulevard and Bernal Avenue. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 28TH DAY OF JANUARY 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Michelotti and Chairman <br />Lindsey <br />NOES: Commissioner Berger <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />- 1 - <br />
