PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-09 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR RZ-87-O1, CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an approximately 3.6 acre site located on both sides of Old Dublin Canyon Road, approximately 3,000 feet west of the intersection of Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon Road to the "A" (Agricultural) District or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved annexation of two small lots, the 1.9 acre Otto parcel and the 1.7 acre Lewis parcel to the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 14, 1987, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-87-1; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated January 21, 1987 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held January 28, 1987, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case RZ-87-1, application of the City of Pleasanton. - 1 -
