PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-07 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-87-13, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, at their meeting of August 19, 1986, the City Council initiated prezoning of eight parcels totalling 247 acres in the vicinity of Dublin Canyon Road, including the subject parcel; and WHEREAS, the subject prezoning is resubmitted to the Commission because LAFCO staff is requesting a zoning designation consistent with the long-term development potential of the property, i.e., General Plan designation of "Low Density, Rural Density, and Public Health and Safety;" and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 13, 1988, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-87-13; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held January 13, 1988 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for the prezoning of a 63 acre parcel located south of Dublin Canyon Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) Low Density Residential, Rural Density Residential and Public Health and Safety District. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. - 1 -
