PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California RESOLUTION NO. 1407 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO TELE-VUE SYSTEMS, INC. TO OPERATE A MICROWAVE TOWER IN THE SOUTHWESTERN CORNER OF THE SUNOL BOULEVARD SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT. WHEREAS, Tele-Vue Systems has made application, UP-76-8, for a conditional use permit to construct a microwave tower at the southwestern corner of the Sunol Boulevard Sewage Treatment Plant, 800 feet west of Sunol Boulevard in the P (Public and Institutional) District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the application on April 14, 1976, took testimony and received the staff report. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds as follows: 1. That the proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the purposes of the district in which this site is located in that it will aid a quasi-public activity in giving better service to the public. 2. That the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare or materially injurious to the properties or improvements in the vicinity, in that the immediate area is used for sewage ponding. 3. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. Section 2. Application UP-78-8 is approved subject to the following conditions: 1. That the location of the tower be as shown on the site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department. 2. That the tower be constructed of earthtone colored metal; that it be no greater than 40 ft. in height; and that it contain one ten ft. diameter microwave dish also painted a neutral earthtone color. 3. That approval of this use be conditioned upon the approval of Case Z-76-54 by the Design Review Board. 4. That all utilities required to serve this development be installed underground. 5. That the applicant shall abide by all requirements of
