PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1492 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE ADOPTION OF RZ-77-1. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission raised the question of whether the City of Pleasanton was subject to its own regu- lations regarding design review, conditional use permits, variances, etc.; and WHEREAS, this question was researched by the Deputy City Attorney who concluded that the City is so regulated; and ',WHEREAS, the manner in which the Pleasanton City Code is presently written, Federal, State, County and local agencies must also comply with the Code; and (WHEREAS, such a regulation is at variance with the statutory and common law in California and should be amended; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 9, 1977, to review this amendment, at which time all pertinent material and testimony was received by the Planning Commission. (NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: (Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council amendment of Sec. 2-5.04, Article 1, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton as set forth in the draft ordinance, attached hereto and incorporated by reference, herein.
