PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1496 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING THAT THE <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION ENFORCE THE <br />SECURITY ORDINANCE AS PROPOSED TO BE ADOPTED <br />BY THE CITY COUNCIL. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has intro- <br />duced an ordinance creating minimum security standards <br />for commercial and residential construction in the <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br />(WHEREAS, that ordinance provides for the use of certain types <br />of doors, locks and lighting in order to effect reason- <br />able protection against unlawful entry; and <br />(WHEREAS, the Planning Commission believes that the use of such <br />security devices and measures in Park and Recreation <br />buildings owned by the City could be beneficial. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the Park and <br />Recreation Commission the adoption, where appropriate, <br />of the provisions of the security ordinance proposed <br />for adoption before the City Council, as it pertains to <br />City owned park buildings. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON on the 9th day of February, 1977, by the <br />following vote: <br />
