PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1168 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton recommending to City <br />Council the findings incorporated in the i <br />Service Station Study Report. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the Planning <br />Commission to conduct a study on the ques- <br />tion of service stations, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has examined perti <br />rtent reports and testimony. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following conclusions have <br />been reached: <br />1. That service stations be reviewed and <br />granted on an individual basis and only in <br />accordance with the needs of the community <br />at the time that the application is re- <br />ceived. <br />2. That any service station which has bee <br />abandoned for 90 days will be removed by t e <br />property owner or the oil company at their <br />expense. If this is not done by the respo - <br />sible parties, the City will have the righ <br />to remove said station and levy the cost <br />against the builder. <br />3. That should another use be designated <br />for the site after removal of said station <br />the procedures of the Design Review Ordin~ <br />shall be applicable to the new use and be <br />concluded within the same 90-day period. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 28th day of March, 1972 <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, <br />Pons, Wood and Chairman <br />Carrigan. <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Date: March 28, 1972 <br />Attest: <br />Secretary Howara 'r. parr <br />
