PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1285 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton recommending to the <br />City Council the adoption of GPA-74-1. <br />WHEREAS, the application of Patrick Gill for an <br />amendment to the General Plan of the City <br />of Pleasanton for that 11.1 acres of land <br />located immediately east of the Southern <br />Pacific Railroad tracks and approximately <br />680 feet northwest of the intersection of <br />Mohr and Oakland Avenues, Pleasanton, from <br />the medium density residential land use to <br />limited industrial, has come before this <br />Commission, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on <br />this application and has examined pertinent <br />maps, drawings and documents, and has made <br />the following findings: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will be in <br />the public interest and general welfare. <br />2. That the proposed amendment will create <br />a more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL\7ED, that the Planning Commission of th <br />City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the <br />City Council the adoption of GPA-74 1, as <br />petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 10th day of April, 1974, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Commissioners McLain, Pons, Wood <br />and Chairman Pereira <br />Commissioner Carrigan <br />Secretary Harris <br />DATE: April 10, 1974 <br />ATTEST: <br />'~~ _ <br />Robert J.
