~ ~ LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of March, 1993, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON (hereafter referred to as "City") and TERRELL BASS and STELLA SHAO, (hereafter referred to as "Owners"). R E C I T A L S WHEREAS, Owners are the owner of real property in the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, commonly known as 560 Main Street and 220 and 280 Division Street, and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, City believes creating a consolidated parking lot open to the general public would be a benefit to all downtown merchants by making off-street parking more accessible and convenient to shoppers and visitors; and WHEREAS, City desires to create the consolidated parking system especially important to downtown merchants during the City's reconstruction of Main Street Project; and - 1 -
