MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />Special City Council Meeting <br />August 28, 2007 <br />1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hosterman called the Special Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 6:05 p.m. <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: None <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENT: None <br />4. CLOSED SESSION <br />Conference with Legal Counsel -Potential Litigation, pursuant to Government Code <br />^ Potential legal challenge to the Final EIR, PUD Development Plan and Development <br />Agreement concerning the Oak Grove Project as it relates to (1) the emergency vehicle <br />access easement to and from the site; (2) the visual analysis in the Final EIR; (3) the loss of <br />trees and fire management issues on individual lots <br />^ Potential legal challenge by Vulcan Materials concerning proposed amendments to the <br />Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan (Staples Ranch Project) as those amendments relate to the <br />proposed construction of improvements to EI Charro Road, the EI Charro Interchange and <br />providing continued access from Vulcan's property to I-580 <br />^ Potential legal challenge by the City of Livermore concerning proposed amendments to <br />the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan EIR (Staples Ranch Project) as those amendments relate <br />to the extension of Stoneridge Drive and the EIR's traffic analysis concerning the proposed <br />developments <br />^ Granite Construction Company, CEMEX, and Alameda County concerning Granite <br />Construction's asphalt plant on property owned by CEMEX in the unincorporated area of <br />Alameda County <br />5.
