CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hosterman reconvened the meeting in open session at 7:00 <br />p.m. Councilmember Brozosky led the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brozosky reminded the public of the Don Lewis Youth Expression concert <br />at the Amador Theater, Oct. 6th at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />With regard to the upcoming election on November 7th, he reminded the public that a <br />good resource for information on issues and candidates is the League of Women's Voters <br />website at smartvoter.org. <br /> <br />He also noted that the City Clerk's Office is offering early voting this year. The public can <br />cast their votes at City Hall beginning October 23rd through Election Day between the <br />hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. <br /> <br />He commented on the problem of people removing campaign signs from yards and noted <br />it is illegal and by doing so it takes away someone's right to their freedom of expression. <br /> <br />He concluded by indicating that Sunday, November 5th at 1 p.m. in the downtown is the <br />Annual Veteran's Day Parade. He encouraged a huge show of support for the veterans <br />and those serving our country. <br /> <br />2.
