<br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />August 15, 2006 <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Sullivan called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m., with Mayor Hosterman <br />absent. <br /> <br />Council adjourned to closed session for the following purpose: <br /> <br />CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - POTENTIAL LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code ~54956.9(b): <br />. FERMA Corporation, regarding construction of the Callippe Preserve Golf <br />Course <br /> <br />CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code ~54956.9(a): <br />. Sutton v. City of Pleasanton - Claim # RG 05-248283 <br />. Fasulo v. City of Pleasanton - Claim # VG05247860 <br /> <br />The closed session adjoumed at 6:55 p.m., with no action to report. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER: Vice Mayor Sullivan reconvened the meeting in open session <br />at 7:01 p.m. Councilmember McGovern led the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />Council member McGovern announced that Concerts in the Park, hosted by the <br />Pleasanton Downtown Association, continue every Friday evening through <br />September 1. The East Bay Regional Park District, in coordination with the Cities <br />of Pleasanton and Dublin, Zone 7 Water Agency and Caltrans, will hold a <br />community meeting about the Alamo Canal Trail 1-580/BART Undercrossing. She <br />announced the next General Plan Update Workshop was scheduled for Tuesday, <br />August 29 and that the San Francisco Caledonian Club was bringing the Scottish <br />Games to Pleasanton during the Labor Day weekend. <br /> <br />2.
