City of Pleasanton; and Siqnature Properties v. City of Pleasanton [arbitration <br />proceedings]). <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning potential litigation against Granite <br />Construction Company/RMC Pacific Materials concerning the asphalt plant on Stanley <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning pending litigation ~Chestnut. et al. v. <br />City of Pleasanton). <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico <br />at 7:01 p.m. <br /> <br /> Council member Campbell noted the holidays are approaching and urged people <br />to shop downtown Pleasanton first. He also reminded the community about the time <br />period for requesting absentee ballots. Early voting will not be available in the <br />Pleasanton City Clerk's office, but citizens can go to the Alameda County Registrar's <br />Office. He announced the dates and times this is available. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Dawn Abrahamson called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Council members present were Kay Ayala, Steve Brezosky, Matt Campbell, Jennifer <br />Hosterman, and Mayor Tom Pice. Staff members present were Nelson Fialho, Deputy <br />City Manager; Jerry Iserson, Acting Director of Planning and Community Development, <br />Michael Roush, City Attorney; Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager, James W.
