MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> ADJOURNED <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />March 30, 2004 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The adjourned regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor <br />Tom Pico at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Dawn Abrahamson called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Steve Brozosky, Matt Campbell, Jennifer <br />Hosterman, and Mayor Tom Pico. Staffmambers present were: DeborahMcKeehan, <br />City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Rob Wilson, Director of Public Works; Jeff Knowles, Deputy <br />Director/Transportation; and Tim Neal, Chief of Police. <br /> <br />Mayor Pico led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />Item 3a <br />PAP-57 (PCUP-63/PDR-243)~ Glenn Kierstead, California Splash LLC (SR 04:058) <br />(CONTINUED FROM March 30, 2004) <br />Appeal of the Planning Commission's denial of applications for conditional use <br />permit and design review approvals to expand the existing water park facilities and <br />related improvements at Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area located at 2500 <br />and 3320 Stanley Boulevard. Zoning for the property is Public and Institutional (P) <br />District. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico wanted to find out whether there is a majority of the Council that is <br />inclined to deny the appeal and to uphold the Planning Commission's decision that this <br />project not go forward. If this is the case, he did not believe there was a need to discuss <br />the conditions of approval. He suggested that individual Councilmembers begin by <br />addressing their questions to staff and the appellant. <br /> Ms. Ayala mentioned that the City Attorney provided advice atter the adjourned <br />regular meeting of March 23 with respect to Council not receiving any other public input. <br />She deferred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council I 03/30/04 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
