MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />September 17, 2002 <br /> <br />6:30 P.M. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Conference with real property negotiator Deborah McKeehan concerning the purchase of <br />a portion of 2287 Vineyard Avenue for roadway purposes; the property is owned by Wayne and <br />Betty Hahner. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico at 7:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Ayala led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She reminded <br />everyone that the Chili Cook-off would be occurring downtown this weekend. In addition, the <br />Pleasanton Partners In Education would be having its dinner on Saturday night. She also wished <br />her mother Happy Birthday. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti and Mayor Tom <br />Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Wayne Rasmussen, <br />Principal Planner; Phil Grubstick, Interim Director of Public Works/Engineering; Stewart Gary, <br />Fire Chief; Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager; and Gail Gilpin, Economic Development <br />Manager. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Item 4j, Status Review of City Council priorities, was continued to 10/1/02. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />09/17/02 <br /> <br /> <br />
