MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />June 4, 2002 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico <br />at 7:01 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Michelotti led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She <br />expressed her sadness at the death of Pleasanton resident Leroy Rodgess, a longtime <br />resident of the City. He was a caring man and one of the "old timers" of the community. <br />She expressed her sympathy to his family and to his extended family at VFW Post 6298, <br />where he was Past-Commander. Every morning he and some of his friends could be seen <br />at one of the restaurants on Main Street, sitting and chatting about many past and present <br />events. Ms. Michelotti recalled a poem that was dedicated to the City Fathers, which <br />includes this group of special men. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell <br />Michelotti and Mayor Tom Pico. Staffmembers present were: Deborah McKeehan, City <br />Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager; Brian <br />Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall Lum, Director of <br />Public Works and Larissa Seto, Assistant City Attorney. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Item 6e was moved to immediately follow Item 6b. <br /> <br />4. CONSENTCALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Ayala, that the following <br />actions on the Consent Calendar be taken: <br /> <br />a. Approved the City Council Minutes for 05/21/02. <br /> <br />b. Approved the Traffic Committee Minutes for 05/02/02. (IR 02:019) <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 02-051, approving the Annual Status Report on <br />Development Impact Fees (AB 1600 and AB 1693).
