MiNUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />February 5, 2002 <br /> <br />6:30 CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Council conferred with Real Property Negotiator Deborah McKeehan regarding the <br />City's potential acquisition of conservation easements on the Koopmann property in South <br />Pleasanton. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico at 7:05 <br />p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Michelotti led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She appreciated <br />seeing so many people at the meeting and expressed her hope that this meeting will be as <br />pleasant as the last meeting was. She congratulated the 4-H Club on its 100t~ anniversary. She <br />also congratulated the students who recently graduated from the DARE Program. That is a <br />tribute to the City and School District working together. She thanked everyone involved in the <br />Downtown Specific Plan and felt that was a good example of Pleasanton in action. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, and Mayor Tom <br />Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Wayne Rasmussen, <br />Principal Planner; Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; and James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and <br />Community Services. <br /> <br />3.
