MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />December 4, 2001 <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico at 7:04 <br />p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Campbell led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. He welcomed <br />everyone to the meeting, especially the high school students. He described an assignment that <br />was given to the Amador Valley High School seniors. He thanked the hundreds of volunteers, <br />especially Eileen Morley, who put in so much work to organize the Holiday Parade. It was a <br />difficult decision to cancel it due to the weather. He thanked Ms. Tinander and the <br />Amador/Foothill Choir for coming to the Tree Lighting Ceremony. He wished everyone a happy <br />holiday. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan recognized the Civics Teams that were going into competition this week <br />and wished them luck. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, and Mayor Tom <br />Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Lisa Adamos, <br />Economic Development Specialist; and Dave Iremonger, Financial Services Manager/Treasurer. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan referred to the addendum that moved Item 4u to be discussed as Item 6e <br />and the second addendum that added item 4bb, to the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />4.
