MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />March 20, 2001 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico <br />at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. He remarked that <br />Spring is here and he referred to the opening days for the Little League and softball <br />leagues as well as for the San Francisco Giants. He announced a fund raising event for <br />the Special Olympics at Chili's. It is called "Tip a Cop" night and Pleasanton police <br />officers will be the waiters with all tips being donated to the Special Olympics. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell <br />Michelotti and Mayor Tom Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta <br />McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Randall A. Lum, Director of <br />Public Works; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Tim <br />Neal, Police Chief; Nelson Fialho, Deputy City Manager; and Gall Gilpin, Economic <br />Development Manager. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />4. CONSENTCALENDAR <br /> <br />Item 40 <br /> <br /> Wayne Hahner, 2287 Vineyard Avenue, expressed his concerns about the <br />conservation easement. He said he would not be able to sign the easement as prepared. <br />He asked for two additional weeks to discuss this with the City Attorney. He is happy <br />with the PUD in all other respects. He believed the ordinance could be adopted with an <br />exception regarding the easement. <br /> <br />Ms. Dennis felt the entire matter should be considered rather than just one part. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 03/20/01 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
