MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />February 15, 2000 <br /> <br />6:00 P.M. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> A closed session was held to confer with Real Property Negotiator Deborah <br />Acosta regarding potential sale of property to the Pleasanton Unified School District <br />(portion of the Bemal Avenue property); and to confer with legal counsel to discuss <br />potential litigation concerning groundwater rights and related issues. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tarver at 7:12 p.m. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She pointed out that <br />there is now a U.S. mail box in front of the library. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver announced that Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher would be at the <br />Farmers Market along with Councilmembers on Saturday, February 19, from 10:00 to <br />11:00 a.m. and encouraged citizens to come meet her and the Councilmembers. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. <br />Staff members present were Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall <br />A. Lum, Director of Public Works; Susan Rossi, Director of Finance; Wayne Rasmussen, <br />Principal Planner; and James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />Councilmember Becky Dennis was absent and excused. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 4c, Approval of Interim Treated Water Supply Agreement with Zone 7, and <br />Item 4d, Approval of granting of an easement to PG&E through the City' s Central <br />Business District parking lot on Peters Avenue, were continued to the next meeting on <br />March 7, 2000. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 02/15/00 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
