MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 18, 1994 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Girl Scout Troop 1579 presented the flag for the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Rebecca L. Dennis, Karin Mohr, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Ben <br />Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Steven Bocian, Assistant <br />City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; and Bill van Geltier, <br />Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dorothy Scribner was absent and excused. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Councilmember Pico requested that Consent Calendar Item 4g be moved for discussion. <br />It was moved to item 8b. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by MS. Dennis, that the following actions be taken <br />on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br /> a.
