CALL TO ORDER- PLEDGE TO FLAG Vice-Mayor George Spiliotopo~los called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.r.~. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll v~hich is recorded as follows: Councilman Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson and Vice-~ayor Spiliotopoulos were present. Mayor Reid ,..~as absent. Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. tlirst, City AttorneV, and r~r. Campbell, Director of Public Works, were present. Mr. Fales, City ~qanager, and Mr. Aiello, Acting Director of Planning, were absent. AGENDA A~.~END~IENTS Mr. Hirst requested that he wished to add to the Water Refund Rights Agreement, relating to the Detachment of Annexation Nos. 53 and 56, (item j on the Consent Calendar) that the Director of Finance be authorized to pay Volk-HcLain Properties, any water connection and service fees collected by the City of Pleasanton within the area to which and consistant with the agreement for Water Refund Rights applies, said amounts to be applied against the City's obligation under the agreement. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded bl; Councilman Gerton that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: a. The February Claim Warrants in the amount of $92,048.85. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71.-44, approving the Amendment to the Gas Tax Budget relating to the transfer of Gas Tax Funds for street maintenance purposes. c. Adoption of Resolution !I]o~ 71-45, approving the Agreement with the State of California to conduct the Annual Population Esti- mate for the City of Pleasanton. d. Setting the public hearing for April 5, 1971, on th application for the Tentative ~.la~ and Development Plan Review for a Town- house Development to De located on property described as a por- tion of Parcel 2-5, Block 1101, Book 946, of the Alameda County Assessor's Office, containing approximately 9.1 acres and ge~'~erally located ]mmediately south of Interstate No. 580 and easterly of Tassajara Road in Pleasanton. e.
