MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY CO,UNCIL Pleasanton, California March 1, 1971 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk tIelen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Mana~ ger, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Aiello Acting Director of Planning were present. , , AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Fales stated that he had received a letter from Besco Homes re- questing that the matter of the Report of the Planning Commission regarding the review of the Park Dedication requirements relating to the Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract No. 3232, Besco, which is listed as item 8-a on the agenda, be postponed until March 15, 1971. ~.~r. Fales requested that the matter of a dedication of an easement be added to the agenda for Reports of the City Attorney. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by CounCilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: a. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-35, approving the Plans and Specifications for ~Iack Avenue Improvements and calling for bids on this project. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-36, approving a time extension to March 15, 1971, for O.C. Jones & Sons for work in Assessment District 70-1, Longview. c.Adoption of Resolution No. 71-37, approving Minor Amendments to the Traffic Resolution. d. Setting the Public Hearing for March 15, 1971 on the application to rezone from the R3.~-4000 Multiple. District to the Public and Institutional District that property described as a portion of Parcel 25, Assessor's Map Book 99, Page 19, containing approx- imately 1.63 acres. e. Setting'the Public Hearing for March 15, 1971 on the application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Ordinance No. 520, assigning specific zoning districts in accordance with the General, Plan as amended by Resolution No. 70-240 to an area containing approximately 17.45 acres and located generally south- east of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road, Pleasanton.
